What shipped

This week, Simmer heads to Apple for App Store review.

The team has been living in this app for a long time. We built it for our own people first and ran it on our phones, letting it hold us to a small daily habit through moves, job changes, and busy seasons. Sending it into the review queue is the moment it stops being ours alone, and the whole team felt that click.

Most companies treat app review as a checkbox. For a team this small it was more of a kitchen-table moment: we packed the box together, checked the label twice, and sent it off.

What we're chewing on

Waiting, mostly. Review runs on Apple's clock, not ours, so the team is spending the wait on finishing touches: reading the onboarding words out loud one more time, tightening notification copy so every nudge stays gentle, and refreshing the review dashboard more often than any of us will admit.

The bigger thing we are chewing on is how to welcome the first wave of you into the app without losing the calm we promised. Simmer was built to be the quiet corner of your phone. The team intends to keep it that way, launch excitement and all.
